That’s right, I’m not just ordinarily irritated. I’m longer term irritated. This has been going on since I changed over to the new template (whenever that was).
I can’t change my elements. The page loads up, and loads, and loads, and loads, ad nauseum. It never completes loading. This means that I can’t add new elements and, since it doesn’t get loaded, I can’t change the bottom element. The other template customizing tabs work just fine. I can change colours. I can alter the wording of the elements that are there currently (except for adding new elements or altering the bottom element).
Grrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!!
Today I slept in. I didn’t intend to. I doubt that Bran intended me to. However, that doesn’t change the fact that I did, indeed, sleep in. I got up at 10:10. That left me 35 minutes to shower, get dressed and get my school stuff ready to go. I was showered and ready to go out the door by 10:45 to get to school for my 11:30 class.
While I was at my desk endeavouring to get my shit together quickly (and not forget anything) I heard a rustle and a stir behind me. It was Bran, snoozing away on the couch. It was then that I discovered why I had overslept. Usually he wakes me before he leaves for class at 9:15. That wasn’t the case today. I woke him and asked if he was coming to school. He opted for snoozing more and I wandered off to class.
When I got into Penology I remembered that I was supposed to do an outline of my essay, if I was going to do one. It was due today, no extensions. I guess I’m going to be writing a 40% mid-term and a 60% final. Oh well. Such is life. I totally forgot about that this weekend while I was very busy snoozing and avoiding doing any work. It’s ok though. I’m pretty good at multiple choice tests and if I study (I’ve already started) hard enough, I’ll get a good mark.
I got home at 3 (the bus was late today), unloaded my books. Tali had made coffee and was about to make tuna ala her for putting on bread. She’s a joy! I poured myself some coffee and she made me toast with her tuna ala her. It was tangy and yummy and went great with coffee.
Bran changed the water in the fish tank. He took some of the old water out, rinsed out the filter sponges (not sponges per se, but close) and poured the water out. Then he filled the red pails with fresh water when he couldn’t find the water conditioner. You can’t add chlorinated water to a tank. Even a python (direct hose from sink to tank that is used for the super big tanks) has a place to put in water conditioner. So he called up Grace. He had stuff to give ther for her tank that we sold her and she gave him a small bottle of water conditioner when they went out for coffee.
So now the water is all changed, the weeds are reduced (some went to Grace) and the fish are swimming around all active like. The bronze cory was chasing one of the cychlids around. I don’t know which one though, but Bran found it amusing. We’ll be getting a few more corys because they like community more than being solo.
Some of the cychlids are marking their territory and seem to be displaying mating habits. I don’t know if we have a mix of males and females though. It’s quite possible that the mating indications and territory marking may all be in vain. It’s also quite possible that, if they do procreate, we’ll have ot get another tank. As it is I think the tank has too many territory entrenched fish. I guess we’ll find out.
That’s about it from here. It’s still winter.
I’m going to go off and read other people’s lives and then stick my nost back into the Stats text.
