Saturday
Today, Bran got me up at 5 am. We sat about trying to figure out whether we were actually alive for about 1/2 hour and then we loaded up and off we went to deliver papers. We got them all done by 6:45. It was good to know that they were all delivered and we had no real obligations for the day.
Sometime into our sleep after we got home, Boy phoned asking if he could continue his sleepover at his friend’s house. Bran didn’t say yes, but he didn’t say no. I asked about Boy having his friend come and sleep here, but at his friends house, WoW is on two computers and they could play together. Here, it’s only on one computer and they’d have to take turns. His friend has a server and they run a guild of some sort together. When Boy phoned back later to see what the decision was, Bran said yes he could, and then went back to sleep. I don’t even remember the phone ringing.
I got up at 5. Bran’s still snoozing. Right now I’m watching murder for hire stings on MSNBC. It’s scary that people are wanting other people dead for some of the most stupid and selfish reasons. One guy wanted his ex-wife dead as well as her husband and his two oldest children who lived with her because they had stood up to him. It was heartbreaking to hear the kids’ talk and see their pain. The youngest son, who had been living with his dad, has nightmares, can’t sleep until all the windows are shut and locked and lives in fear that his father is going to kill his mother and family. The selfishness of those people who want other people kill is absolute and horrible.
That’s what my evening is going to be. I’m going to watch more murder and mayhem and probably snooze some. It sounds like Boy is at home. I thought that he was going to have a sleepover tonight. I guess I have a question or two to ask. He probably came home for clothes or something game related. It wasn’t Boy, it was Bran doing a little tidying outside. It’s still to wet to mow the lawns.
